BCD is a TSR1) CD-ROM drive emulator which will allow you to install and play most CD-ROM based games on a computer without the CD (or a CD drive). Has the widest compatibility between different DOS games.
This utility will allow you emulate a CD-ROM drive from a directory of files. It even lets you choose the label for the emulated CD-Drive. It will not read an ISO or other CD-image.
The process is simple when using BCD.
You first use the built-in DOS command SUBST to create a drive letter for your emulated CD-drive, let's say E: Then you run BCD on the newly created E: drive to make it a CD-ROM.
